Early flights, kiosk coffee and wondering how I'm still awake

 Hey stargazers, 

The day is finally here!

It's grad trip time beautiful people and of course, in typical VKC fashion, I maybe got three hours of sleep before traveling. I don't think that's ever going to change though, I've been like it since I started traveling when I was 12. 

It's kind of crazy to think about how many years I've been coming to this airport and how many flights I've been on. 

Some of my friends have never flown before and have a bunch of questions about the airport and how it all works. 

At this point, I have it down to routine, though I did totally forget I had a mini lighter in my backpack with my smokes this morning while going through security but they didn't think anything of it. Now if it was a windproof butane lighter I would've gotten shit but since it was a mini bic I guess they didn't care. 

They just announced my flight is full, which means it's going to be even stuffier than usual which is annoying but I've done this enough times to know so long as I'm by the window I'm fine. I'm just praying there's in-flight entertainment or else this flight is going to be longer than I'd like. 

The last two flights I've been on haven't had it but I was flying with Westjet which is probably why they have free snacks on their flights but that's literally it for benefits. Air Canada at least is had in-flight entertainment and they have more legroom which is why I almost exclusively fly with them over WestJet. 

The only reason I only flew with them on my way home from Manitoba was that they were the cheapest airline to come from the west. Now that I'm back east it's AC all the way. I'm NEVER going back to WestJet. 

Security took all of 5 minutes this morning which was nice, partially because I wasn't wearing my berks, as I've said in my last airport post berks cause the alarms to go off xD it's funny and for some reason, other shoes don't trigger it. Like I went through in my converse this morning and nothing happened. 

I had to get kiosk coffee because nothing but Tim Hortons -hold for me gagging- was open and I'm not a Tims drinker so I opted for the bottled Starbucks fraps at a kiosk that was open and a RedBull to kick start my day. 

I've got fifteen minutes until I board so I'm gonna go get ready for that. 

Next stop, Halifax!

Can it really be over?

So here we go again. A new start and a new day, and in order to begin again you must leave behind what you knew before and venture into the world of the unknown. Or in my case, graduating high school. Today is the last day for me here at Holy Trinity High. Saying fond farewells to the teachers who somewhat supported me over the last six years of my life. While some helped me more than others, I still owe some a little respect.  I am staying clear of the history class room for as long as possible as it is the one place I am bound to break down. For three years it has been my home, sitting in my desk by the window listening to Mr Conners teach of the worlds greatest wins a losses. Falling inlove with the subject I hope someday to teach (next to english). I won't regret my time here, or the decisions I've made.  You see it comes down to this, here I stand knowing everything that I know and have done what I was meant to do.
